Ontic Certified by CAAC for Fuel Systems Repair at Singapore Facility

Ontic, a BBA Aviation company and the aerospace industry’s leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for OEM legacy products, announces the successful audit completion by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for the certification of Ontic’s fuel gauging and measurement systems repair facility in Singapore.

"The achievement of CAAC certification is immensely critical for Ontic to expand our footprint in China,” President and Managing Director of Ontic Gareth Hall said. “With almost 1000 aircraft in active service fitted with Ontic fuel gauging and measurement systems, Chinese airlines will now be able to send repairs to our facility and enjoy OEM-quality service at a location in their region.”

The process began in 2014 when Ontic committed resources across its organization to align the Singapore facility to CAAC requirements for this certification. Ontic currently holds EASA, CAAS and now CAAC certifications, and plans to obtain DCA Thailand, DCA Malaysia and JCAB approvals to further expand their capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ontic is attending Paris Air Show at the Le Bourget exhibition center in Paris, France. Stop by the West of England Aerospace Forum pavilion space and meet Ontic at booth G170 for more information on their broad range of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for OEM legacy products and systems.
