Ontic Expands Avionics and Electronics Focus
Ontic (Booth 827) has expanded their legacy avionics and electronics capabilities to further their business growth in licensed and/or acquired products and systems. The manufacturing and repair expansion has added more than 5000 square feet of floor space dedicated to mature avionics and electronics manufacturing and support.
Ontic’s mature avionics and electronics products and systems capabilities now include the complete production and repair of electronic assemblies, microcircuits, and electro-mechanical assemblies as well as airborne radar systems, jet engine controls, fuel quantity computers, synchronizers and synchrophasers, temperature controls and wireless smoke detection systems to name a few.
Peg Billson, President of Ontic said, “Ontic understands that the need for lifetime support of mature electronics and avionics is growing and we want to have a key role in that support. This proactive decision further accommodates the OEMs Ontic serves through licensing and acquisition. We envision that 50% of our future business base will be dedicated to this requirement. ”
Today, Ontic’s extensive legacy products and systems portfolio is managed and supported globally from four center-of-excellence facilities based in Chatsworth, California, Cheltenham and Slough, England, Houston, Texas and a fifth Ontic location opening this year in Singapore.
